Telecom operator Idea Cellular has launched two Android-based budget smartphones, Blade and id280, hoping to increase usage of the 3G services in the country.Idea Cellular has become the fourth telecom operator after Bharti, Vodafone and Reliance Communications to venture into the mobile handset space with the launch of two 3G smartphones. According to reports, the Idea id280 is re-branded version of the Huawei Ideos X1.
Idea ID-280 works on the android platform of version v2.2 Froyo and has the CPU of Qualcom chipset and has a large capacitive touch screen of 2.8 inches. It has a very sleek design and has a powerful primary camera of 3.2 Mega Pixels and has a video camera which provide you with the feature of video recording at 720p@30fps rate. It has an expandable memory up to 32 GB.
Idea ID-280 supports 3G connectivity of HSDPA at an amazing rate of 7.2 Mbps and also provide you with the features of Wi-Fi connectivity and comes with the inbuilt opera min i browser. Idea ID-280 has got many other features like it supports apps like pre-installed Facebook, Youtube, Google search, GPS navigation and has pre-installed social networking apps with Gravity sensor and Live TV many more apps can be downloaded from the app stores.
Idea ID-280 has got the standard battery of Li-Ion 1250 mAh which provide you with the amazing hours of stand by and talk time. Idea Id-280 comes with the MRP 0f Rs 5850 and with this you can get the benifited 3G plan worth rupees 3500.
